Control Room
Sound Lab's control
room is a spacious 25'x25' and houses an array of digital
and analog recording and outboard gear. It also features pristine Gauss
monitors and nice warm tube goodies. Our recording capability
encompasses both analog and digital systems. The control room is
equipped with the following features:
• A 64 track,
hard disc based, Pro Tools™ 7.1, 24 bit system with a full
assortment of plug-ins and a Pro Control Console.
• A 24 track Tascam DA88 tape based system, fully integrated with the
Pro Tools™ system.
Studio A
Studio A is an impressive
1,080 square foot space offering flexible set up
and two isolation booths. Room ambiance can be customized to fit your style
with movable baffles. An in-house drum set, various amps and percussion
instruments are at your disposal for any session. We also have a wide array of
the finest microphones to capture every nuance of your performance. If you
are a songwriter and need musicians to back your tunes, Sound Lab can help.
We can book some of North Carolina's most talented artists to assist you.
Studio B
Studio B offers voice-over
recording for broadcast or commercial
applications. It houses Pro Tools™ digital editing applications and CD
burning capabilities. Studio B is outfitted with an extensive and diverse
music and sound effects library for use with your recordings.
